"WE ARE WORKING"
Genesis' Workforce empowerment project that equips potential employees with the skills necessary to get hired in today's competitive economic culture.
What We Do
In a country where over 40% of its people are unemployed we seek to teach individual the proper techniques necessary to achieve and retain employment. Basic interview, Math, workplace conduct, and mindset skills are taught in our 2-week course. We then pair excellent students with local businesses seeking quality employees.
Our computer course kinds in addition to the workplace training. Here students are taught basic computer skills necessary for many jobs in the ever developing technological job force. Students are then tested on their performances before given a certificate of completion that they may use when seeking employment.
The merchandising industry is one of South Africa's most lucrative industries. Therefore, it is where many potential jobs lie. With this in mind W4AL has developed a training program in addition to our two other progams. We train students in the use of cash registers, and basic skills needed to do well in this industry.
